1. Who we are

WizzStudy is a service operated by 9keys Group Inc., a federally incorporated Canadian corporation. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use WizzStudy.

You may not share your account, use it on behalf of someone else without permission, or use it to harass, defame, or harm others.

3. Your content

Anything you upload (documents, recordings, notes) remains yours. By uploading, you grant WizzStudy a limited, revocable license to store, process, and transmit that content solely to operate the service for you and (if you opt in) to use anonymized excerpts for research as described in the privacy policy.

You promise that you have the right to upload what you upload, and that doing so does not violate copyright, privacy, or any other right. You can delete your content from the library at any time.

4. Generated content

Summaries, flashcards, quizzes, audio recaps, and tutor responses are generated by AI systems. We make every effort to ground them in your uploaded sources via our citation enforcement, but generated content can still contain mistakes. You should verify any claim that matters against the source before relying on it for academic work.

WizzStudy is a study aid, not a substitute for course material or academic integrity. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of generated content complies with your institution's policies on AI assistance.

5. Payment

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance via Stripe. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds: annual plans are refundable within 14 days; monthly plans are non-refundable but can be cancelled at any time.

Prices may change. We will notify you at least 30 days before any price change takes effect on your subscription.

6. Fair use

Plans include generous limits documented at /pricing. If you significantly exceed these limits, we may throttle or contact you. We do not abuse our right to do so.

7. Things you can't do

Use the service to violate any law or another person's rights
Reverse engineer or attempt to extract our source code, models, or prompts
Use automated tools to scrape the service or its data
Resell or sublicense access to the service without our written agreement
Upload content you don't have the right to upload

8. We can suspend or terminate

We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially violate these terms. We will give you reasonable notice and an opportunity to cure, except in cases of clear abuse.

9. No warranty

The service is provided “as is.” We make no warranty that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that generated content will be accurate for your purposes.

10. Limit of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period (or CA$100 if you are on the free plan). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated by email to all active accounts at least 14 days before they take effect.
